On Friday, February 4th- the Treasurer’s Office held a luncheon/bake sale fundraiser for the “Honor and Remember” organization. Herbs Hot Dogs donated hotdogs, Mary Jane Bread donated buns, and the general manager from Wendys at 241 S. Battlefield Blvd. donated chili, crackers, containers and spoons. Because of their generous efforts and the hard work of the Treasurer's Office staff, this event was an enormous success! The office now has enough money to donate a personalized “Honor and Remember” flag to the immediate family of a fallen soldier from this area.
